Take all the apples that you picked
Wash ‘em —- peel them if you do not have a foley food mill
Cut them and put in a crock pot ….. add 1 to 2 cups of cider … add 1 to 2 tsp cinnamon
Cover crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours
Mash peeled apple mixture . Measure amount …. Add 1/2 as much sugar .. maybe a bit more cinnamon. …. Put all back in crock pot …now cook with cover off till thick enough to can
If you have a foley food mill { I highly recommend - no peeling } put apples in food mill and go to part where you measure and add sugar . 2 parts apples purée to 1 part sugar
This may take longer than a day - so you can place in fridge overnight … and start the next day
